David Moreland Reviews His Year in Office
It was a great year for me and as I have said many times before, a great honour to Captain this great golf society. From the first outing at Mount Ober to my Captains weekend at Musselburgh GC and Kings Acre GC it has been a great experience.

The first Major of the Year went to Colin McCaughey. Colin won The Presidents Day Trophy at Portstewart Golf Club in May. Colin was presented with his trophy by President Trevor Geddis.

Banbridge Golf Club was the venue for two more of the Society’s Trophies. Both the Matchplay Championship and the Matchplay Plate were contested.
The second Major, the Matchplay Championship was won by David Topping beating Davy Speers.
The Match Playplate competition was also contested at Banbridge Golf Club with Colin Montgomery.

Adam Campbell secured the Golfer of The Year with 216 points and Davy Speers secured the Senior Golfer of The Year award with 214 points.
