Update from the Secretary - Phil Gilmore
The sub for 2009/2010 will (again) be £20!
The Society will be visiting four new courses this year and will also be returning to old favorites such as Kirkistown Castle G.C and Clandeboye G.C. Banbridge G.C, Antrim GC, Killymoon GC, Fortwilliam GC and Portstewart GC are the new courses to the society’s itinerary and this will bring the total number of different courses played to 85!
Other highlights for this year will be the annual Matchplay Competition to be defended by Davy Speers, the final in 2009 is scheduled to be played at Banbridge G.C on 7 June. President’s Day will be played at Portstewart GC which is magnificent. The ‘Golfer of the Year Trophy’ will be defended by Andy Lockard and of course there will be ‘Captain’s Weekend’ at the end of July which will take us for the first time to Edinburgh!
