Update from the Secretary - Phil Gilmore

The sub for 2010/2011 will (again) be £20!

The Society will be visiting four new courses this year and will also be returning to old favorites such as Kirkistown Castle G.C and Clandeboye G.C. Mannan Castle G.C, Dunmurry GC, Athlone GC and New Forest GC are the new courses to the society’s itinerary and this will bring the total number of different courses played to 96!

Other highlights for this year will be the annual Matchplay Competition to be defended by Colin Earney, the final in 2011 is scheduled to be played at Fortwilliam G.C on 5 June. President’s Day will be played at Mannan Castle GC which is near Carrickmacross. The ‘Golfer of the Year Trophy’ will be defended by Colin McCaughey and of course there will be ‘Captain’s Weekend’ at the end of July which will take us for the first time to Athlone!
